Nadine Zammit, a postgraduate student in architecture and conservation at the Department of Conservation and Built Heritage (Faculty for the Built Environment) at the University of Malta, published her research included in her taught Masters dissertation submitted in 2022 in peer-reviewed journals available online.
The first paper proposed a holistic, less subjective, method to value built heritage. It put forward a mathematical formula to compute the heritage value of a given building. The second applied this formula to compute the heritage value of the auberges of the Order of St John in Valletta whilst the third addressed the perspective of heritage professionals in scheduling sites in Malta.
All papers were co-authored with her academic supervisor Prof. Lino Bianco.
