On 6 November 2023 the Irish Ambassador, Caroline S Whelan, launched the Ireland’s EU50 exhibition at the University Library.

The ambassador referred to the key milestones of Ireland’s membership. H.E. Caroline S Whelan made reference to the relationship between Malta and Ireland and how the EU was important for both countries given the opportunities linked to membership, including the Erasmus exchange programme.
