The University of Malta Futsal team has scored yet another massive win, this time with a 9-2 scoreline against Swieqi United FC.

The two teams faced each other at the National Sports School at 20:45 on 29 November.

This favourable result puts them in the lead of the table, surpassing the reigning champions, Luxol St Andrews Futsal. 

Goals were scored by the UM Futsal Team as follows:

• 2 by Gia Nikvashvili
• 1 by Aaron Montebello
• 1 by Steve Camilleri
• 1 by Guilherme Fonseca
• 1 by Andre Cachia
• 1 by Zvezdan Vukovic

11 teams are taking part in the League, also including newcomers Gzira Santa Margherita, Sliema Futsal and Malta Under 18's.

In another recent win, the women’s University of Malta Futsal team scored a win against Lija Athletic, with a 4-1 scoreline.
