An exciting exhibition offering a showcase of role models who are challenging gender stereotypes and traditional roles, while strengthening the support system for girls who wish to pursue a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics fields, has just kicked off.
The She Can exhibition was launched on Monday 15 January 2024, at Our Lady Immaculate in Ħamrun and will now be touring various secondary schools throughout the year.
UM is spearheading this exhibition as part of a series of initiatives together with MFET, the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs, and MEYR, the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation, under the World Capital for Women and Girls in Science and Technology, given to Malta by RASIT, the Royal Academy of Science International Trust.

This exhibition features 26 women from the fields of Health and Well-being, Digital Technology, Marine and Maritime, Sustainability and Smart Solutions.
Just like each of these women have pursued their dreams and excelled in their careers despite various challenges, this exhibition will, through their presence and opportunity for dialogue, empower girls of secondary school age to set out on their journey towards their own STEM achievements.
More updates about the entities hosting the exhibition throughout the year can be found on the dedicated web page.
