A number of medical students are being given the opportunity to share some of the latest research by the University’s Faculty of Medicine & Surgery with the general public by appearing on a number of radio and TV programmes, as well as co-authoring articles on local newspapers.
This initiative, being led by Chev. Prof. Renald Blundell from the Department of Physiology and Biochemistry within the same Faculty, is ongoing.
It aims to inform individuals about certain disorders and health conditions, in a simple yet effective way, while giving the students a unique opportunity to talk about their research in a public setting.
The latest instalment, is an article that was published on the Malta Independent Online, about Peripheral Arterial Disease.
