On 14 February 2024, the President of Malta, His Excellency Dr George Vella, hosted the launch of the fourth volume of the book series published by the University of Malta’s Department of Public Policy, at San Anton Palace.

The series, titled ‘Public Life in Malta: Papers on Governance, Politics and Public Affairs in the EU’s smallest member state’, has been edited by Prof. Mario Thomas Vassallo and Rev. Prof. Carmel Tabone.

The publication, which includes a collection of essays and papers embodying some of the recent research and thinking of the Department’s scholars and graduates, provides a tool to all students of politics, public officials, and politicians dealing with issues related to good governance.

Public Life in Malta as a series takes on a greater significance when small states are becoming more visible on global platforms.
