The UM Achievers campaign kicked off this morning, featuring one of the Faculty of Science's Chemistry Department Professors, Prof. Joseph N. Grima as the first guest of this monthly series.
Apart from his roles as the President of the Malta Paralympic Committee, the President of Siggiewi Rowing Club and being Vice-President of the Malta Rowing Association, Grima had managed to make it to the top 2% of Applied Physicists across the globe!
Speaking to Newspoint, Prof. Grima expressed his love for music admitting that any genre would usually do the trick, often finding himself shuffling from a classical playlist to one with a more modern selection. The Chemistry professor also shared the typical meal he would usually indulge on after a good rowing workout... "Normally, it's a good mix of meats with pasta," while ironically adding to his response, that lasagna would be the perfect combo for this.
While wrapping up, Prof. Grima expressed his gratitude for such an initiative which sheds light on the University community and celebrates its successes at UM and beyond.
Who's going to be our second guest? Tune in next month!
