In February 2024, UM ranked 869^th in the world, improving its 872^nd position registered at the same time last year (February 2023).

This places UM in the top 2.8% of over 31,000 higher education institutions worldwide.

In the European ranking, UM is now ranked 345^th out of over 6000 institutions, up from the 350^th place in 2023.

This positions UM in the top 5.7% institutions continentally.
