Ms Angie Mifsud, from the UM’s Research Support Services Directorate, helps assist academics and researchers in matching their ideas with funding opportunities. One great achievement for the University Maritime Platform is its database of study units in maritime areas.

But she has a dream – to have the UMP be a hub for the Mediterranean region and have a research vessel stationed in Maltese waters.
