On Friday 26 April 2024, the residents of St Vincent De Paul Long Term Care Facility were treated to a performance by University of Malta School of Performing Arts students.
From dancing to musical performances and even theatre, the halls filled with joy as the residents clapped along.
The performances were under the artistic direction of Douglas Comley and supported by lecturers from the School.
The umbrella name of the performance was 'Collectively for Others', and it highlighted the students’ commitment to community engagement and their dedication to using their artistic talents to bring smiles to others.
This initiative was part of the SPACE (School of Performing Arts Community Engagement) project which aims to respond to the varied needs and expectations of the community.
