On Thursday 23 May and Friday 24 May, 2024, at the MFCC Ta' Qali, the Department of Construction and Property Management, led by Prof. Perit Rebecca Dalli Gonzi, and the Department of Insurance and Risk Management, led by Prof. Simon Grima, introduced forthcoming courses and other departmental initiatives at the MARE summit, as a joint cooperation.  

Through panel discussions, interviews with market leaders, keynote addresses and breakout sessions, international and local experts conveyed their knowledge of the European and Maltese markets at the summit.

A Student Awards night was held in the conference's concluding session to recognise the students of the Faculty for the Built Environment for the most innovative project, the most socially and environmentally conscious project, and the best teacher of the year.

The UM pavilion was visited by His Excellency the Spanish Ambassador Jose Maria Muriel and other local authorities.
