A group of academics and a doctoral student presented research findings at the annual conference of the European Association of Faculties of Pharmacy (EAFP) which was held in Bergen, Norway.
During the conference, Dr Janis Vella Szijj delivered an oral presentation about the importance, gains and challenges related to the incorporation of real-world experiential learning as part of the pedagogy.
Dr Vella Szijj presented findings related to a real case study and highlighted the contribution which experiential learning has on the development of essential skills for the development of workforce.
Dr Nicolette Sammut Bartolo was nominated by the EAFP to act as an external auditor for the association, together with another academic from Italy.
This conference marked the end of the presidency of the Association for Prof. Lilian M. Azzopardi. The newly formed executive committee thanked Prof. Azzopardi for her role and contribution towards the Advancement of Pharmacy Education within the European scenario.
