Formally established on June 16 2005, the International Academy of Mathematical Chemistry (IAMC), with head quarters in the city of Dubrovnik on the Adriatic coast, Croatia, is primarily a learned society.
At its June General Meeting, held in Dubrovnik, the IAMC committee announced that Prof. Irene Sciriha, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science at UM, has been elected to serve on the committee of the IAMC.
IAMC embraces the development and promotion of Mathematics in Chemistry, particularly in the areas of Graph Theory, Topology, Combinatorics and Artificial Neural Networks.
The nominating subcommittee of IAMC seek the election, from all members, of researchers who are currently contributing significantly to the advance of mathematical chemistry through publications of the highest academic standards with international peer review.
