University of Malta students’ research can now be found on the Malta Business Weekly thanks to an initiative by the newspaper and the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy.
Every week, the Malta Business Weekly will publish summaries of students’ dissertations as part of the students’ Master degrees administered by the Faculty. The summaries are published in both print and online editions of the newspaper, under the name "Research Insight Series".
The articles, which will appear every Thursday for a 12-week period, feature students’ work emerging from collected data and analysis on themes such as:
- Consumer behaviour and Social Media
- Fintech
- Online Marketing
- Employer Branding and
- Virtual reality
In the words of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Management & Accountancy, Prof. Emanuel Said, the Faculty strives to promote the work of its students while bringing the University and industry closer to each other.
For the Malta Business Weekly, such an initiative provides fresh yet evidence-based content useful for business leaders, according to its editor Andre Camilleri.
The initiative is coordinated by Dr Joe Schembri and Dr Jirka Koniezny.
