For those of us who follow Maltese football, Brenda’s face is a familiar one – she’s mostly known as a Maltese footballer who plays in forward position on Malta’s women’s national team. She was part of Malta’s women football team in their historic win against Latvia last December.
But there’s a lot more to this bright and vibrant 27-year-old. She was just 15 when she debuted her football career, but did you know she loves to travel, spend time alone in nature, and she’s also a fashion enthusiast? And that she’s an Administrator within the Faculty of Laws?
She has tremendous insight on so many things in life – such as, the fact that one’s mentality can either be one’s pathway to success or, if one lets it, a major obstacle from reaching one’s goals. “That’s why we need to always be positive, determined yet realistic in life”, she says.
If Brenda could have dinner with one footballer, dead or alive, to get even more insight on the world of football, it would be Raymond Vella, better known as Mundu. Why? Because he used to coach her for many years, he was an intelligent player on the pitch, and his humility made him an invincible friend.
She’d love it if the women’s national football team would qualify for the EURO 2025. Would you?
