Prof. Sergio Portelli from the Department of Translation, Terminology & Interpreting Studies of the Faculty of Arts, recently undertook an Erasmus+ ICM teaching mobility at the National University of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.

During his visit, he gave lectures on Translation Technology and Literary Translation and had meetings with academics of the Department of Translation and French Philology.

Both sides discussed present and future projects and explored areas of further collaboration. Presently, the two departments are engaged in research on indirect translation between lesser-used languages.
