Prof. Peter Mayo's article on Adult Continuing Education in Small States has been published in Bordercrossings-The Diplomat Magazine as an invited piece.
This issue focuses on small states in which articles and other works by University experts on small islands and small states, Prof. Lino Briguglio and Prof. Godfrey Baldacchino are also cited in different contributions in this issue.
Prof. Mayo's article draws on both theoretical and practitioner insights regarding creative possibilities in the area, seeking at all costs to eschew the deficit/ vulnerability model.
Prof. Mayo had published on Adult education and education in small island states including guest editing two refereed journal issues, Convergence (1996) and Comparative Education (2008), the latter also converted into a book edited by Prof. Mayo and published by Routledge.
