The Malta Journal of Health Sciences Editorial Team led by Editor-in-Chief, Dr Georgette Spiteri, proudly announces that the latest issue (Volume 11, Issue 1, 2024) includes significant contributions from our Faculty of Health Sciences and is now available online.
The issue features research on maternal influences on breastfeeding practices by Ms Justine Parnis Ignjatovic and Dr Petra Jones, and a nationwide study comparing the knowledge of chronic pain amongst healthcare clinicians working in Malta by Mr Emanuel Schembri, Ms Anthea Gatt, Dr Karl Spiteri, Ms Victoria Massalha, Dr Vincent Marmara & Dr Tonio Agius.
The publication also features a guest editorial focusing on the importance of understanding the education and training requirements of advanced practice within specialist roles in therapeutic radiography by Dr Melanie Clarkson and Prof. Ricardo Khine. The Postgraduate Oration by Prof. Daniela R. Gatt focusing on the transformative power of effective communication also features in this issue.
