Dr David Aloisio, a Senior Lecturer at the Junior College, is one of the seven writers from 5 different countries to be reading at what promises to be another vibrant celebration of literary arts, cultural exchange and artistic collaboration – the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Festival of Literature.
The festival will also feature Malika Booker – a British poet of Guyanese and Grenadian parentage, Irene Chias – an Italian novelist residing in Malta, Mario Cardona, also from Malta, Raymond Antrobus from the United Kingdom, Josep Pedrals from Catalonia, and Maja Ručević from Croatia.
Readings will be mostly in Maltese and English, but some short works will also be read in their original language.
Together with a number of other entities, the Għaqda tal-Malti – Università is also backing the festival.
Organised by Inizjamed, the festival will take place from Wednesday 28 August to Saturday 31 August across two prominent locations: the Valletta Design Cluster in Valletta and the MCAST Campus in Paola.
Tickets may be purchased online.
