Prof. Berry has distinguished himself through his leadership as President of the Societas Oecumenica (2018-2022), an influential European academic society promoting ecumenical dialogue and fostering peace. His presidency underscored his commitment to bridging divides and addressing societal challenges.
Additionally, Prof. Berry served with the Association Européenne de Théologie Catholique , demonstrating his dedication to fostering collaborative efforts that unite scholars across Europe. His teaching engagements have taken him to numerous institutions, where he has lectured in locations such as Braga, Dortmund, Dublin, Hamburg, Leuven, Lviv, Navarra, Toruń, Rijeka, South Bohemia, and Wrocław.
His influence extends further through several research projects and advisory roles. Recently, he was appointed as an expert advisor to the Comparative Theology of Religions Group (CTRG), a project led by prominent European institutions, including the University of Bonn, the Pontifical Gregorian University, and the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome.
