Prof. Isabelle Gatt from the Department of Arts, Open Communities, and Adult Education recently presented the opening keynote at the SciCultureD Conference, held at the Valletta University Campus.
Her presentation, Theatre as a Catalyst for Social Change, explored the transgenerational impact of community-based theatre, highlighting a powerful collaboration between a group of senior women and Gen Z professional artists and documentation crew.
A lively Q&A followed, with project participants present, as conversations continued informally during the break, allowing for further exchange of ideas on how theatre not only bridges generations but also fosters resilience and empowerment.
