On Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November 2024, Rev. Prof. Carl-Mario Sultana from the Department of Pastoral Theology, Liturgy and Canon Law at the Faculty of Theology, participated in a symposium organised by the Istituto di Catechetica of the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. The symposium explored the vital educational dimension of catechesis in today's world.

Prof. Sultana contributed to a discussion forum, presenting on the distinction and complementarity between catechesis within the community and religious education in schools.

The event also featured the launch of an important publication, ‘Catechesi e catechetica. Ieri, oggi, domani,’ which includes 41 interviews with global experts on catechesis, including Prof. Sultana.
