On Thursday 5 December 2024, a sizeable group of Sixth-Form students attending the recently-inaugurated Mediterranean College of Sport (MCS), paid a visit to the UM Campus.
They were shown around the facilities of our Institute for Physical Education and Sport (IPES), and then took a tour of key spots across the Msida Campus, such as the UM Library, Quadrangle, the Main Administration Building and Gateway Building.
The students’ career interests varied between Sports, Law, Business, Medicine and Health Sciences.
The visit was coordinated by members of the University’s Student Advisory Services (SAS).
The day’s itinerary included talks by student advisors Mr Noel Caruana and Ms Rebecca Grech about entry requirements to UM and making a well-informed decision when choosing a career and course at the University, as well as a talk by Assistant Registrar, Ms Eleanor Bezzina about the Institute for Physical Education & Sport’s offering of the Student Athlete Support Programme.
