An exciting collaboration between THINK (Rebekah Zammit), Malta University Press (Krista Bonnici), and the UM Library (Ryan Scicluna) led to the launch of Kekko the Kitteen’s Great Campus Adventure – the University of Malta’s very first chapbook series aimed at introducing young readers to campus life.
If you’re curious to join Kekko on his adventure, look no further than Malta Libraries! Thanks to their wonderful team, Kekko the Kitteen’s Great Campus Adventure is now available at all Regional and Branch Public Libraries in the Maltese Islands, including public schools that form part of the Malta Libraries family!
The series centres on Kekko, a teenage cat – or ‘kitteen’ – who explores the UM campus through his encounters with our campus cats including the UM Library star, Felix. The first chapbook in the series follows Kekko and his classmates on a visit to the UM Library. In typical ginger cat fashion, what should have been a tour around the library turns into quite an expedition when a mysterious notebook is found on the main staircase.
Don’t miss out on the chance to borrow this heartwarming story! And guess what… the next chapbook in the series is already underway.
