Trailblazers in science and technology are inspired to be active participants in driving change to ensure equal opportunities for all.
On Tuesday, 11 February 2025, on occasion of International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Malta Chamber of Scientists and the University of Malta jointly organised a panel discussion to explore the challenges, aspirations, and opportunities for women in science while promoting gender equality in STEM fields.
The programme was organised as follows and moderated by Ms Liliana Francalanza:

In addition to this event, the 'She Can' Exhibition was also displayed at ERIL, which aims to inspire and support women pursuing careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics fields.
To mark the occasion, the Marketing, Communications & Alumni Office invited some of the speakers to share their perspectives on what it means to be a woman in science today.
