St. Joseph's Feast Day, celebrated on 19 March, honours St Joseph, the patron saint of workers, fathers, and the universal Church.
To celebrate St Joseph's Feast Day this year, our university launched a unique and engaging initiative.
The idea was simple yet fun: faculty and staff members named Joseph (or variations like Giuseppe, José, or Josef) were invited to participate in short interviews about their experiences, career journeys, and thoughts on the significance of their name.
As a token of appreciation, each interviewed "Joseph" received a zeppola, the traditional Italian pastry associated with St. Joseph's Day. These delicious cream-filled treats added a sweet touch to the celebration, making it a memorable and light-hearted way to honour the saint.
The initiative not only brought awareness to the feast day but also fostered a sense of community among staff, sparking interesting conversations and celebrating personal stories.
