Dr Trevor Borg was recently invited to lecture at the Department of Performing and Digital Arts at the University of the Peloponnese in Nafplio, Greece. His lecture focused on Practice as Research (PaR) in the artistic fields, offering an in-depth exploration of this methodology through specific projects and case studies. Dr Borg spoke about the process of artistic research and the potential of PaR to foster new modes of knowledge production.
Dr Borg was also invited to deliver an artist talk at the Fougaro Art Center in Nafplio entitled ‘Reading Place: Unfolding Layers Through Artistic Enquiry’, focusing on how art can function as a mode of exploration, uncovering the hidden narratives, histories, and ecologies of place, and at the same time creating new ones. The visit was supported by the Erasmus+ Mobility for Teaching.
