Prof. Sergio Portelli from the Department of Translation, Terminology & Interpreting Studies of the Faculty of Arts, visited the Postgraduate School of Translation & Interpretation of Beijing Foreign Studies University as part of the Erasmus+ ICM mobility agreement between the two institutions.

He gave lectures to the students following the Master's course and held mentoring sessions with the doctoral students. Prof. Portelli presented his research on Generative AI as a tool for translation and discussed further collaboration with BFSU academics in the field. He was hosted by Prof.Yao Bin, Vice Dean of the School.
