The University of Malta has signed a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amity University based in Madhya Pradesh, India, on Collaborative Education Programmes and Joint Research Projects. The MoU aims to develop and strengthen the relationship between the two prestigious Universities in a number of fields of common interest. The signing of the agreement is intended to provide a basis for joint research projects, collaborative educational programmes and faculty and student exchanges between the two institutions.
The High Commission of Malta in New Delhi India has given its active support to the initiation and formalisation of the agreement. During his meeting with Prof. M.P. Kaushik, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University, on 28 April 2016 in New Delhi, HE Mr Stephen Borg, High Commissioner of Malta to India, congratulated both universities on this important development and looked forward to the implementation of the collaborative programmes and projects envisaged in the MoU for the mutual benefit of students and academics in Malta and India. He assured the High Commission’s full support to this partnership which will contribute to strengthen relations between the two countries.
