The latest issue—Vol. 5, No. 2 (2016)—of the refereed academic journal Postcolonial Directions in Education has just been published.
Vol 5 No. 2 (2016) marks the journal's adoption as one of the refereed journals of the Faculty of Education, University of Malta. With its stellar editorial advisory board, it is the only journal available in the area of postcolonial education. It complements the book series Postcolonial Studies in Education by Palgrave-Macmillan. Two of the editors of the journal, Anne Hickling Hudson and Peter Mayo, together with Antonia Darder, serve as series editors of this book series.
This issue is a special issue guest edited by Prof. Dr Doris Goedl of the University of Fribourg titled: 'Decolonizing Dominant Western Knowledge and Knowledge Production'.
