The book titled The Pedagogy, Politics and Philosophy of Peace. Interrogating Peace and Peace Making was recently launched at Goldsmiths, University of London. Edited by Professor Carmel Borg and Michael Grech, the volume is published by Bloomsbury (London).
The book is the first in a series titled ‘Bloomsbury Critical Education’, edited by Professor Peter Mayo.
The book follows up from another publication on peace, edited by Borg and Grech, titled ‘Lorenzo Milani’s Culture of Peace: Essays on Religion, Education and Democratic Culture’, published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2014.
Speakers at the launch included Bruce Kent from the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and Lindsey German from the Stop the War Coalition.
Professor Borg and Professor Mayo are academics at the University of Malta.
