M.Sc. in Strategic Management and Marketing | M.Sc. in Strategic Management and Digital Marketing
The M.Sc. in Strategic Management and Marketing programme offers an opportunity for participants to develop critical thinking skills and attitudes along with balanced knowledge, in terms of depth and width, of up-to-date theories and practices that organisations in industry demand from modern managers and marketing executives. This approach aims to help graduates transform into executives who adopt a discipline where decisions are reached based on reliable and valid evidence gathered across markets, competition and customers.
As from this October, the Department of Marketing is launching a new M.Sc. in Strategic Management and Digital Marketing thus offering specialisation in the online dimension. The demand for this new specialisation in Digital Marketing is driven by interest from students and an increasing demand for digital marketing roles on the international job market.
This new M.Sc. in Strategic Management and Digital Marketing is designed to prepare next generation leaders in Digital Marketing by integrating Digital Marketing with a strong Management component. This approach transforms students into leaders who have a broad understanding of the digital marketing opportunities and will design data-driven actions to lead teams and create impact. Students are equipped to be effective in their roles by understanding success cases and push boundaries by engaging with cutting edge tools and techniques. This M.Sc. empowers students to build knowledge and skills that employers are demanding from the new generation of digital marketing managers within the Digital Economy.
Students completing these programmes shall develop an understanding of the latest marketing and leadership concepts such as digital marketing channels, performance metrics, digital advertising, decision modelling, data analytics and digital content production theories and applications.
These interdisciplinary programmes last one calendar year and encompass a research-based dissertation in parallel with the training modules in Strategy and Marketing or Digital Marketing.
