Dr Giselle Spiteri Miggiani has recently represented the Department of Translation, Terminology and Interpreting Studies at the Università degli Studi di Torino, where she gave a series of lectures.  Throughout the semester, she has delivered lectures and talks also at the University of Roehampton, at the higher education institute Istrad in Seville, and at the Università La Sapienza di Roma, where she promoted the newly restructured M.A. in Translation and Terminology offered by the department at the University of Malta.

As from October 2018, Dr Spiteri Miggiani shall be coordinating a newly introduced audiovisual translation specialisation strand which shall host international students as well as local students who will be contributing towards the implementation and/or further development of audiovisual translation and localization techniques within the local cultural sector and the local broadcasting, film and media industry.
