Twenty-five students from twenty different countries, constituting the third cohort of students reading for the Erasmus Mundus International Master in Adult Education for Social Change, attended a three-day orientation programme held at the University of Malta, in preparation for the second semester.
The University of Malta, through the Department of Arts, Open Communities & Adult Education, is one of the participating universities in this joint master degree programme together with the University of Glasgow, Tallinn University and the Open University of Cyprus.
A record 351 scholarship applications were received by the IMAESC consortium last year and EUR 3,929,000 were recently awarded to the consortium to extend the scholarship period of the degree to 2024.
