MA Conflict Resolution and Mediterranean Security students within the Centre for the Study and Practice of Conflict Resolution recently paid a courtesy visit to HE Dr George Vella, the President of the Republic of Malta at San Anton Palace.

The visit coincided with the 10th anniversary of this dual MA programme, which is offered by the University of Malta and George Mason University.

During the visit His Excellency addressed the students, outlining some of the key contemporary security challenges in the Mediterranean and highlighting Malta’s role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
