H.E. Muhammad Hassan, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Malta (based in Tunis) visited the University of Malta in order to discuss opportunities to extend collaboration between universities in Pakistan and UM, recruit Pakistani nationals to study in Malta, and identify specific fields of knowledge where Malta and Pakistan-based researchers may be interested in research collaborations.

Ambassador Hassan met Prof. Godfrey Baldacchino (Pro Rector, International Development) and Ms Stefania Agius Fabri (Director, International Office).

There were seven Pakistani students studying at UM in 2018/19.
