Dr Ing. Daniel Micallef, Senior Lecturer within the Department of Environmental Design at the Faculty for the Built Environment, has been appointed as the editor of two different international journals.

He is one of the editors of Experimental Results published by Cambridge University Press. He has also recently been appointed editor of the journal Energies and for the section Wind, Wave and Tidal Energy . This is an open access journal published by MDPI.

The Cambridge University Press journal provides a forum for experimental findings that disclose small steps that are vitally important to experimental research.

The open access Energies Journal by MDPI, on the other hand, aims to include contributions across the spectrum of scientific and engineering disciplines concerned with the development of wind, wave and tidal renewable technologies, from fundamental device development/design, supporting technologies, power conversion to grid integration and associated storage technologies.

Dr. Micallef published extensively in topics related to wind energy, wind engineering computational fluid dynamics and airflows in the built environment.
