The Brill book series, International Issues in Adult Education, edited by Professor Peter Mayo, UNESCO Chair in Global Adult Education, has officially been connected, through permission by UNESCO's Unitwin representative and Brill's John Bennett, to the Chair, as an intrinsic part of its work programme.

This initiative had been included in the work package as part of the University of Malta’s application for the Chair. The series, which has now just published its 34th volume, has officially become part of the UNESCO Chair's activities.

Books in the series, from Volume 34 onward, carry the official UNESCO Chair logo and the title of UNESCO Chair in Global Adult Education, accompanying Professor Mayo's name as Editor.
