Our Knights have triumphed again for the second consecutive season clinching the coveted Futsal Trophy. Founded in May 2014, the University team has quickly established itself as one of the leading teams on the island despite having limited resources.

Playing against champions Luxol, the odds were heavy stacked against our boys but a solid start enabled the team to storm into the lead thanks to a brace from Andre Cachia and although Luxol clawed their way back, UM Futsal notched the all important goal that sealed victory and ensured that the trophy will remain at the University for another year.

The team is run mostly by students who need to ensure a sustainable strategy to allow the team to compete in the national league. We are indeed proud of this team and wish them well for next season.
