The University of Malta proudly celebrates the successful culmination of its European Social Fund (ESF04.083) project.
Spearheaded by the Office for Human Resources Management & Development (HRMD) and the Research Support Services Directorate (RSSD), this collaborative endeavour has not only bolstered the Institution's capabilities but has also enriched the skill set of its dedicated workforce.
Since its inception in 2018, the project aimed at enhancing the proficiency of staff employed across the University's teaching and research laboratories. The project was meticulously crafted to address the evolving needs of the academic landscape.
A comprehensive training programme tailored to encompass a diverse array of Technical, Health & Safety, Quality, and Managerial courses was designed to foster professional growth and development. Training was provided by accredited educational institutions such as MISCO, MCAST, Across Limits, PWC, and MIM. The project offered a diverse program of learning opportunities.
Over the course of four years, around 400 members of staff have embarked on a journey of learning, participating in one or more courses designed to sharpen and broaden their skills.
Looking ahead, the University of Malta stands poised to reap the fruits of this monumental achievement. Armed with newfound expertise and fortified capabilities, the institution is primed to embrace the challenges of tomorrow and continue its unwavering pursuit of excellence. As the project draws to a close, the University of Malta extends its heartfelt gratitude to all service providers, stakeholders, and participants who have contributed to the success of this project.
The management of this project was supported by the University’s ERDF/ESF Projects Office.
