The start of an eventful summer for the Faculty of ICT at the University of Malta (following a successful Expo that took place earlier this month) was also marked by the presentation of a copy of the publication, titled ‘FICT@UM: Home of Tech’ to the Rector on Tuesday 23 July 2024.

The publication contains a summary of each of the end of year projects that were presented as part of this year’s Expo, as well as industry insight by the experts and practitioners that participated in the event.

Both Dean and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of ICT, Prof. Ing. Carl James Debono and Dr Conrad Attard, who led the presentation, explained to the Rector that they were thrilled by the students’ innovative prowess as showcased in the Expo, demonstrating that the future of ICT is in great hands.

Prof. Alfred J. Vella congratulated both for providing an invaluable platform for UM students to showcase their brilliant ideas whilst empowering them to seek bright futures.
