The fruit of a collaboration between Aġenzija Żgħażagħ and the University Students' Council (KSU), with the support of funds from the Eurodesk platform, have been borne, with the winners of the Youth Empowerment Awards 2024 having been announced.
The Youth Empowerment Awards, the aim of which are to recognise the dedication of youth organisations, were handed out during a ceremony held on Thursday 4 July 2024.
While acknowledging the exceptional contributions of various individuals and organisations, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth, Research, and Innovation, Hon. Keith Azzopardi Tanti said reiterated that youth are at the centre of the government’s policy – and these awards strengthen the commitment to continue supporting them.
The winners of the awards are:
- Positive Community Contributions Award - European Studies Organisation (ESO)
- Personal Development Award - Junior Chamber of Advocates
- Youth-Friendly Information Award - Association of Linguistics and Language Technology
- Personal Development Award - Malta University Historical Society - MUHS
- Youth-Friendly Information Award - Għaqda tal-Malti tal-Università
- Personal Development Award - Malta Neurological Students Organisation (MNSS)
- Personal Development Award - ELSA Malta
- Personal Development Award - SACES
- Personal Development Award - UM Racing
