The Doctoral School is proud to announce the launch of the Professional Development Programme for doctoral researchers for Academic Year 2024/25. The catalogue of the programme can be found on the website. Applications will be accepted online through the eSIMS portal on a first-come first-served basis, from Thursday 12 September to Thursday 19 September 2024. The Semester 1 timetable is available online.
Doctoral Researchers are encouraged to discuss their choice of workshops with their supervisory team as part of a personal development plan.
Registrations to present a paper or a poster during the annual Doctoral Symposium, which forms part of the University’s Research Expo (taking place on 28 May 2025), will be open in due course. Invitations to attend the symposium will be communicated at a later stage.
Resident academics pursuing doctoral studies at universities abroad, post-doctoral researchers employed by the University of Malta, as well as Research Support Officers, and Scientific Officers will once again be able to benefit from a number of the workshops on offer through an initiative being taken in collaboration with the Office for Human Resources Management and Development.
More information can also be found on the Doctoral School website.

We look forward to seeing you!
