On 6 March Prof. Immanuel Mifsud delivered a lecture titled "Woman as Prophet, Mother as Theologian" at the Faculty of Theology, University of Vienna. His lecture was a response to the recent publication by University of Malta alumnus Fr Jean Claude Attard, Dun Karm’s Beyond Self as a Theology from the Mediterranean. Fr Attard is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Vienna.
The lecture took place as part of the book presentation event, organised by the Vienna Doctoral School of Theology and Research on Religion, in collaboration with the Embassy of Malta in Austria and 'Poetikdozentur: Literatur und Religion'. The event also featured a talk by Prof. Jakob Deible from the University of Vienna.
