An exhibition highlighting the significant contributions of 26 local females with careers in science and technology, which has, since early 2024, been touring some of Malta's schools to promote inclusion in all fields of science, is widening its footprint to sister island, Gozo!
The panels showcasing the achievements in digital technologies, health and well-being, marine and maritime, sustainability and smart-manufacturing, will be at Science in the Citadel in Victoria, Gozo on Sunday 27 April 2025.
Other than the exhibition itself, which the public is invited to visit for free, there will also be a number of live presentations and activities about maths, physics, oceanography and pharmacology.
Through seeing how others have pursued their dreams and excelled despite various challenges, the exhibition is hoping to once again provide an unmissable opportunity for dialogue and empower young girls to set out on their own journey to the sciences.
The exhibition was spearheaded by the University of Malta, in close collaboration with the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade, and the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation.
On Thursday 15 February 2024, the She Can Exhibition was also launched at the Parliament House to commemorate Malta as the first World Capital for Women and Girls in Science as designated by the Royal Academy for Science International Trust (RASIT).
