The University of Malta Library, in collaboration with Clarivate Analytics, is organising two identical training sessions on Web of Science database.
Web of Science is an online scientific citation indexing service, which is now maintained by Clarivate Analytics, that provides a comprehensive citation search.
The sessions will be held on:
1. Thursday, 26 April 2018 at 14:00 - 15:30 – TR105 (IT Services Building)
2. Thursday, 26 April 2018 at 15:30 - 17:00 – TR105 (IT Services Building)
The main speaker for the sessions will be Mr Amine Triki, who is the training specialist from Clarivate Analytics, and will cover the following topics:
• Getting started with Web of Science (performing a search and analysis, using tools, ...)
• Finding what is essential to research a project in Web of Science
• Identifying the most recent and influential papers in the field
• Using the power of citations to establish links between publications and subjects
• Identifying key opinion leaders in the field and finding potential collaborators
