Join our team as we bring STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) subjects into schools! We will be working with hands-on experiments and the arts to teach kids about all that makes our world so amazing!
STEAM School Malta 2020 gives you the chance to take part in two exciting workshops on 29 February and 7 March. (more details can be found in the application form) followed by two visits to secondary schools in Malta. You will be introduced to IBSE pedagogy (Inquiry Based science education), public speaking skills and other creative tools to develop and learn how to deliver fun and engaging activities to pupils aged 11 to 14 years old.
It’s a unique opportunity to gain skills in science communication, team-working, creative education and build confidence in the covered subjects. While helping to inspire the next generation!
The workshops and visits are available to everyone; undergraduate and postgraduate students, and staff, as well as any others who may be interested. The application form is available online.
Application will be accepted by no later than 27 February. If participants have attended previous Science in the City or STEAM workshops do apply and then get in touch with the organisers to skip the workshops and arrange school visits.
