The very successful BBMRI.QM training & education programme will continue this October. 

An in-depth training in the pre-analytical ISO standards 20184, 20166 and 20186, will be conducted together with the partners of the H2020 project SPIDIA4P GA 733112. 

The course will delve into the ISO standards of Molecular in vitro diagnostic examinations – Specifications for pre-examination processes for: 

• Frozen tissue: Isolated RNA (20184-1), Isolated proteins (20184-2) 

• Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded tissue: Isolated RNA (20166-1), Isolated proteins (20166-2), Isolated DNA (20166-3) 

• Venous whole blood: Isolated cellular RNA (20186-1), Isolated genomic DNA (20186-2), Isolated circulating cell free DNA from plasma (20186-3)

A mandatory requirement for participation in the web conference series is to have the relevant ISO standards at hand. 

You can participate in all 16 sessions or only in individual sessions, but please make sure that you have the relevant ISO standards for the respective session(s) in your hands.  

The ISO standards ae available at 20184:2018, 20166:2018, 20186:2019 and cost between  CHF 88 – 118 / EUR  82 – 110. If you have any questions, please send an email.
