Scholarship at the college of Europe Bruges/Natolin 2022/23 (for Maltese citizens only)
The Government of Malta is offering one scholarship for academic year 2022/23 tenable at the College of Europe, Bruges (Belgium) or Natolin (Poland) to enable students to participate in one of the following areas of specialisation:-
Opportunities at Bruges University:
- MSc in European Economic Studies,
- Master of European Law,
- MA in European Political and Governance Studies or
- MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies
Opportunities at Natolin University:
- MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies
The scholarship cover one academic year commencing September 2022 and ending June 2023.
Applicants for any of the above-mentioned specialisations must already hold a Second Class Upper (or better) local or foreign approved University degree. In case of the economic and legal departments, applicants must already have a degree in a relevant subject namely economics and law. Applicants must have also a good knowledge of the French language.
The age limit is in principle 30 years.
It is imperative that applicants must apply on-line directly to the College of Europe by the deadline of Wednesday 19 January 2022.
Applicants are to apply also online with the Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs. The application forms are available from the Ministry’s own website. Applicants are to include also
a copy of all documents submitted electronically through the College of Europe website. The same closing date of Wednesday 19th January 2022 applies.

Applications from Government and Parastatal employees and from the Private Sector will not be considered unless recommended by their Head of Department/Parastatal Organisation/employer respectively.
Selected candidates will be required to sign an undertaking to the effect that on completion of studies they would be available to work in Malta. They may also be required to enter into a contract to serve the government of Malta upon completion of studies.
Selected candidates must also submit a Testimonial related to the course awarded. The completed testimonial should reach the Scholarships Unit within 30 working days from the end of the course.
Late applications will not be considered. The Board’s decision will be final.
