The Office for Human Resources Management & Development will be offering a Mental Health First Aid course for UM members of staff.
The Mental Health First Aid follows the model that has been successful with conventional First Aid. The Standard MHFA course teaches members of the public how to assist someone who is developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.
Course participants receive a copy of the Standard MHFA Manual and a certificate of completion, valid for three years.
Target audience: All UM members of staff
Duration of course: 12 hours
Delivery method: Classroom-based
Dates: 20 and 21 April
Time: 09:00 - 16:00
NB: Please note that this course will be limited to a very small number of participants. Therefore we kindly advise you to register at your earliest and to ensure that you are able to attend for both sessions.
